I am Trampus Johnson, the Owner and Technician. I have been a marine Tech for 14 years. I went to Marine Mechanics Institute, in Orlando Florida for 2 years. I graduated top of my class in July 2010. I worked at several shops, with great people. I continued my education, at Yamaha, Evinrude, Suzuki, and Mercury University. I have been Mercury and Mercruiser Certified, since 2014. I worked at a shop in Florida, Speed and Custom Marine, for 4 years. At SNC I rerigged boats, ripped everything out and put all new rigging in, updated the console and new electronics, gauges, steering, etc. It allowed me to get a broad understanding of most boat systems. I then went to work at Nunmaker Yachts for 3 years, that allowed me to learn even more on the Yacht systems. I worked at Premier Performance Marine, where I learned about runabout’s, and pontoons. I try to be as thorough as I can, but we all miss things here and there. I like things to be clean and neat under the console and in the bilge, the places that most people don’t think about. That’s where a lot of problems happen, so it is best if your boat is kept up with on a regular basis.

I was in construction, before I went to school for boats. I’ve done drywall, paint, carpentry, roofing, and electric. I was lucky enough to have great mentors, in all the trades that I have been in, they taught me attention to detail, and I carry that today. I Don’t have all the answers, but I can normally find them.
